Porn update

In my extensive search of porn on the internet I have came upon many resources in my efforts in searching for porn. Here are basically the top resources for searching and researching for porn in general...enjoy. Because there is nothing worse that seeing bad porn.

The Internet Adult Film Database: The un-official website (or official) of the RAME (Rec.Arts.Movies.Erotica) Newsgroup. Possibly the most extensive listing of all Adult Movies save for the extreme stuff....or should I say snuff? However it's a bare-bones site for good reason. No pictures save for the ads and just words. Some links to places that offer the videos for sale and links to reviews, but other than that, that is all.

Sadly the only think that it lacks really is the ability seperate each "preference" of video in seperate categories since in reality, you can only select certain preferences of what the actress/actor did in the film.

Search Extreme: If the IAFD was for the big picture, then Search Extreme is for the smaller picture. Literally. The cons of this....not every porn star on on here apparently. Or so I would imagine. Also the list of movies is not as extensive as IAFD, but quite often you'd be searching for the more mainstream movies so generally speaking it really isn't a problem. Lesser known stars may be harder to find.

The wonderful part of this site is how precise it is to search down to the exact scene. Not to mention that they have a larger encyclopedia of pornography terms than IAFD so precise it goes so far as to who is doing who in what way and position. So if you are looking for a transvestite doing a girl in the reverse cowgirl position on a couch that ends up in squirting, then this is the place to search for it.

Excalibur Film's Porn Star Mall The infamous Excalibur Porn Star Mall. Once again it may not be as extensive as the IAFD, but it is as huge as it gets. If you want a face on a porn star you are looking up, here it is. Unlike the IAFD, the mall actually provides a small bio on the star you are looking up which is quite helpful because in ways, this helps you to find out their potentially best performances via their mention of awards they won in which film.

At the same time it provides nice pictures for you to gander at and is a place to order some films if you choose to do so. It's a pretty clean site, so don't expect to see all the cover of the films you choose, (for that you probabaly want to go to the more uncensored ToyBoxxx)

Rog's Reviews: Roger T. Pipe, basically the Ebert of porn reviews. Possibly has the longest list of reviews on pornography of most sorts. Although I like them for informing me in general, you sometimes have to read other reviews since he tends to repeat his preferences in stars a bit too often. But then again his reviews are kinda like a summary of the action so it's supposed to be a bit...exxagerrated. If you want to know what porn is actually good, regard this connoisseur of porn.

Adult DVD Talk: Once again another review place, but sadly skimpy on the reviews since:

A) Not all porn makes it onto DVD
B) These people have lives outside and choose their porn wisely

However a nice alternative to Rog's Reviews to tell the truth. It had a lot of reviews on a lot of titles and sometimes offers snippets of what is in the video. So kinda last resort of sorts, but still a nice place to be. However the best part that if you cannot get post on the RAME newsgroup, then at least you can post here to find out who is who which is quite a question nowadays.
